Athene AI proudly participated in the 16th edition of the CIO Hungary conference, the most prestigious professional event for IT leaders in Hungary. The event was organized by Bitport and took place in Eger, Hungary, from May 8-9, 2025. The event attracted more than 200 participants and addressed the most pressing challenges in enterprise IT under the motto "Taking Back Control." A key theme of the conference was the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in enterprises, a topic present in nearly all of the presentations and panel discussions. In his presentation, Bálint Rákosi, an AI expert at Athene AI, introduced organizational change management, a critical but often neglected aspect of AI adoption. His presentation focused on education and effective communication, both of which are essential for AI to become a valuable tool in everyday work. By presenting concrete company experiences, the presentation demonstrated that technological development alone is insufficient; the key to successful AI adoption lies in organizational culture and staff training. During the two-day professional program, participants received a comprehensive overview of the most important trends affecting enterprise IT. Research from Corvinus University has shown that the role of IT managers in Hungary is changing significantly. Technical skills are becoming increasingly important, as are collaboration and leadership skills, as well as an understanding of business processes. Presentations and panel discussions at the conference covered topics such as smart data centers, new cybersecurity challenges, license management, and the business opportunities of the Digital Citizenship Program.
